Word is leaking tonight that CD is going to announce early Monday morning that they are planning to put their travel business up for sale. I am hearing that the asking price is going to be about $4 billion dollars. I’m not sure what happened to the company’s original idea of splitting the company into four pieces, with travel booking being one of the companies. I guess the company feels that it can realize more value by selling the travel companies for cash? Will this cash remain in the company or will it be spun off to shareholders?
